Default Gamename: Guildwars

What do you first think of this game when u heard of the name

Big massive battles between big guilds, fires arrows magic shooting everywhere in a bloodly match for a castle

or.... 8 v 8 fighting for ratings

when i first hear this game, i of cuz thought of the first option, guildwars, i think , must be big, where large amount of ppl fighting large amount of ppl, when i came to the actual game, i found out that this whole thing is not right... most disappoting is when i step into the game, theres like 50 ppl, spliting into like 30 districts, group of party as u all know range from 2-8, but wut happen to the name? aren't guildwars surpose to be big, not "8 v 8"

I think we shoudl expand the team, and not put distirct but put more cities, that way we can all see the ones inside, and casuing problems such as can't find groups , no one in map, such as abbondon mouth.... and lack of monk or etc because they always stay in another district and theres no monk in the dam district

Unfortunately I can't agree with adding more... Some of us unlucky ones don't have the highest quality computers, even though they run fine. I personally lag when I get into a city with around 40+ people in it. If everyone was allowed in 1 District, there would be no doubt that I and some of the other people like this would lag out or barely be able to move.

And please people.... none of that "Well why don't you get a better computer then...?", because obviously, if I could I would.

hey undeadkiller, have you ever played WoW? That game allows much larger battles, at the expense of a much laggier battling enviroment.

I personally am fine with an 8v8 setting, much more and every guild battle would turn into constant zerging back and forth.

I like it 8v8. You can't simply overwhelm your opponent by sheer numbers and strategy actualy comes into play.

As I knew from the FPS's I've played what a guild was, I thought "8v8 fighting for ratings".
That said, I'd like if the "war" aspect was more pronounced than the "guild" aspect, I'm just saying I never found the name misleading.

Guildwars is not named Guildwars because the player guilds have wars with each other but because in the history of tyria there were guildwars that destroyed the land and made it open for the charrs to invade.

I don't think the issue here is what it actually means according to the game documentation, but the connotations people get from hearing the name... I may be mistaken, though.
